On September 12, 2009, Four Dickinson Songs was performed by soprano Talise Trevigne and pianist Warren Jones on the inaugural concert of the Rising Stars Series at The Granada in Santa Barbara, CA. On the same night, at Grand Performances in downtown LA, nine of Lori’s Dickinson songs were included in a theatrical production “This, And My Heart” with actress Linda Kelsey (of TV’s “Lou Grant”), soprano Anne Marie Ketchum and pianist Victoria Ketchum. This new work explores Emily Dickinson’s world through letters and poetry, and features songs by Laitman, Copland, Heitzig and Cipullo.
