New version of Lori's "I Never Saw Another Butterfly" to be released on Naxos

Music of Remembrance (Seattle, WA) is producing a new CD, available on Naxos in the fall of 2006. The CD will include Hans Krasa's Brundibár (in the first recording featuring Tony Kushner's new English-language libretto), Krasa's Overture for Small Orchestra (with pianist Craig Sheppard), and Lori Laitman's song cycle I Never Saw Another Butterfly, based on poetry written by children at Terezín. The Laitman songs will be presented in an arrangement for soprano (Maureen McKay) and clarinet (Laura DeLuca). The CD will be released in December, 2006.
