Patricia Green's Mystery Recording

Mezzo-soprano Patricia Green’s newest disc, Unsleeping, recorded with pianist John Hess, was released in January 2009. The CD pays tribute to living composers from around the world, with Lori Laitman representing the United States. Gramophone Magazine writes: “The teaming of composer Lori Laitman and poet Sara Teasdale in Mystery results in five songs of generous lyricism and propulsive ardor.”  Fanfare comments:  “There are exquisitely crafted miniatures…” and American Record Guide states that “Laitman is one of the best and most prolific song writers at work today.”
