Lori and The 2006 Songs Across The Americas Festival

From May 15-20, Lori was in residence in Conway, Arkansas, representing the US at The Songs Across The Americas Festival. Dr. Kay Kraeft founded this art song festival; the first event was in 2003 in Bolivia. This year's theme was "The Songs of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, The United States, and Arkansas. Other featured composers were Richard Hundley of the US, Irma Urteaga of Argentina, Juan Orrego-Salas of Chile, Eduardo Gilardoni or Uruguay, and several Arkansas composers, including Robert Boury.
