The Stockton Holocaust Project will premiere on October 23, 24, and 25, 2008 at 8 pm at The Conservatory of Music at The University of The Pacific. Created as a companion piece to Hans Krasa’s opera “Brundibar,” this new piece intersperses songs from Lori’s “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” along with powerful testimonies from Stockton’s own Holocaust survivors. The performance ends with Lori’s setting of Emily Dickinson’s poem “If I...” .

The performance will take place at the Long Theatre located in the heart of the University of the Pacific Campus in Stockton, CA. General Admission is $10 and the box office number is 209-946-2UOP. Tickets will go on sale Monday, October 6th.  For additional press information, please contact Prof. James Haffner at 209-946-2832.
