Premiere of “A Wild Sostenuto”

The West Chester University Poetry Conference has commissioned Lori to set “For C.” by Richard Wilbur. The poem is a beautiful tribute to long-lasting love and Lori titled the piece “A Wild Sostenuto” — using one of the phrases from the poem. The piece will premiere at the 2008 West Chester University Poetry Conference on June 4, 2008, with baritone Randall Scarlata and Lori on the piano. Richard Wilbur is the Keynote Speaker for the Conference this year and will be in attendance.
