"Mystery" reviewed by Judah Adashi

A new disc of selected art-songs by Washington D.C.-based composer Lori Laitman features excellent performances not only by soprano Lauren Wagner and baritone William Sharp, but also by distinguished Peabody faculty members Phyllis Bryn-Julson (soprano), Thomas Kraines (cello), Gary Louie (saxophone) and Seth Knopp (piano). Laitman’s elegant songs from the past decade are beautifully captured here by this remarkable collection of gifted artists.
