This is the second song of Tell The Story, a song cycle commissioned by Chiarina Chamber Players for baritone Randall Scarlata and pianist Efi Hackmey. The cycle’s theme is that of human decency.
Although this is the second song in the cycle, it was composed first at Efi’s request, and I composed it between January 29 – February 19, 2026 (with additional slight changes in March), in Potomac, MD. The song will be videotaped in DC on April 23, 2026 and it will be released prior to the December 6. 2026 premiere at St. Marks Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill in DC.
