“The Soul Fox” — Lori’s new song cycle setting five very recent poems of David Mason — was commissioned by Reach Out Kansas, Inc. (ROKI) for soprano Julia Broxholm and pianist Russell Miller. Julia and Russell will premiere the work both at The University of Kansas and at The Eastman School of Music.
The first concert will take place on the Faculty Recital Series on September 22, 2013 at 2:30 pm in Swarthout Recital Hall in Murphy Hall on the campus of The University of Kansas. Admission is free. For more information, please click here.
On Oct 2, 2013 at 8 pm, Julia and Russell will present the cycle at The Eastman School of Music on the Faculty Artist Series, in Hatch Recital Hall. For more information, please click here.
